PAWENY

Paweny is an African sub-tribe, within the Jiëŋ (Dinka people) Padang group. They are mainly found in Atar of Pigi County South Sudan and inhabit the land along the confluences of the White Nile and Sobat River Eastwards. They are of five (5) categories of; Aniek, Buga, Jueny, Thiony and Tungdiak.
