Mr. Johnny P. Piscos is an extra ordinary man with great proficiencies in life. He goes off into world to further rummage his legend. He shares his commitment to a vision of cloud computing, and Google technologies in particular, to help schools run more efficiently, to assist individual educators better perform their work, and most importantly to prepare students for today's changing tech landscape.

His basket of educational qualifications includes his TESDA NC-II (PCO) National Certificate Level II in Personal Computer Operation in the Year 2009. His 2-year course in Job Enabling English Proficiency sponsored by the USAID-United States of America Aid for International Development Growth with Equity in Mindanao in the year 2010. His Distance Learning Program in Code of Ethics and Ethical Behavior in Civil Service given by the Civil Service Commission Regional Office No. IX for 40-training hours pursuant to Republic Act. 6713 in the year 2012. His Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education specializing in Special Education from Western Mindanao State University, Philippines, AACUP Level III Accredited in the year 2013. His Graduate study in Master of Education major in Special Education at WMSU where he currently obtains units this year. He is also aiming to enroll in Doctor of Philosophy in Special Education in Monash University, Australia through an international scholarship grant to be availed right after he finishes his master’s degree in the same field.

Mr. Piscos is a Special Education Teacher by profession and trained in Applied Behavioral Analysis at Center for Behavioral Support, Cebu City. His teaching experiences include as a pre-service teacher at WMSU-Integrated Laboratory School Elementary Department (In-campus) where he handled multi-grade children with special needs and at Baliwasan Central School (Out-campus) where he handled grade two pupils. Right after his graduation, he started working as a teacher in U.P Academy where he taught pre-school children during its year 8 programs. He also worked as the lead shadow educator in his own established JPETS-Johnny Piscos Educational Tutorial Services in Zamboanga City, a home-based and school-based shadow education programs catering to various high school and grade school learners in Ateneo de Zamboanga University. He is connected with Google right now as a Google Educator/Trainer on Google Apps for Education and an active core member of Google Educators Group-Zamboanga with the community lead from the DepEd ICT Office Division of Zamboanga City.

He believes that education is a continuous process and we should never stop learning. He has attended series of trainings in the field of special education such as in Effective Behavioral Management Strategies at Home, Handling Children with Attention Difficulties and Hyperactivity, ABA held at Center for Behavioral Support in Cebu. He has also completed a Semestral Basic Course II in Sign Language Self Learning organized by the Special Tertiary Education Program of WMSU. He has also attended training on Speech and language development for Pre-School and SPED Learners and training on Home and family Life for Persons with Special Needs. He was invited as TV Guest in the former TV program “Special Education Ngayon” hosted by Teacher Glenna Nocum and Nel Atilano, SPED teachers of Santa Maria Elementary School. He gave a short talk on the trends and issues of Special Education Program in General where later on he was again frequently invited not anymore to guest but as a part time TV co-host of the said TV show. It was a regional TV show showcasing the talents and the existence of the PWD’s in the country live every Saturday afternoon in Sky Cable. It was also viewed worldwide through live streaming in their website www.tribamedia.com. Mr. Piscos is currently organizing a Thera-LACSN (Therapeutical Learning Activities for Children with Special Needs). It is a community outreach program for the benefits of Children with special needs that will help promote literacy and numeracy through the use of Adjunctive Therapies such as Biblio Therapy storytelling with the use of Big Books, Art therapy, Play Therapy, Dance Therapy, and Musical therapy.

Mr. Piscos has been an active delegate to some institutional, local, regional, and national trainings, conferences, and symposia in various fields such as in Special Education, Peace Education, Health Education, ICT/Computer Education, Professional Education, Pedagogy, Andragogy, UNESCO Innovation Conferences on Education related to Millennium Development Goals, Leadership, Organization and Management, Community Awareness and some of those were co-organized and facilitated by him.


Mr. Piscos was regarded as one of the Philippine-Zamboangenio Youth Ambassadors against Human Trafficking by the MTV-EXIT, nonprofit international organizations that utilize the youth’s talents and skills through music videos, short films, live bands, and community awareness to combat Child and Human Trafficking Cases in the Community.

A man on a mission and a champion of Illiterate, of Poor, of Persons with Disabilities and of Children with Special Needs and has the heart in helping to promote the Magna Carta for Disabled Persons and its Implementing Rules and Regulations.
