Ajay Raj Singh was born in Sahibabad - U. P., October 9, 1986. The earlier years of his life were spent growing up in Sahibabad where he took an early interest in Visual Arts. He believes that art is within him from birth as a gift from his mother as she was a very good artist.
Later in his life in year 2001 he met with one of his uncle who was his neighbor. His uncle is a well known photographer, seeing his uncle’s work, reading magazines and books on photography his interest in Photography began.
Since then he has been doing photography and has captured many faces of this beautiful world such as nature, flora, fauna, people and many more. He did his diploma in photography adding a new step to change his passion into profession.
Now he is a well known commercial photographer, his achievements in photography includes, covering stills for television serial telecasted on Doordarshan, getting selected in Royal Challengers Fanatic Fan Challenge II (among top 9 sports photographer's), his pictures got selected in Canon 'Go Green' competition (among top 14 in Delhi NCR), he was the winner of 'Smt. Prabhasen memorial Contest' conducted by School of Fototechnik.
He is full of energy and enthusiasm to do Photography and likes experimenting with different equipments and light sources, as the name "PlayLight" reflects his identity to play with light and his showcase includes unbelievable and outstanding results.
