Sushil Acharya
Sushil Acharya is a Nepalese physicist and data scientist, currently pursuing his PhD in well log depth alignment using machine learning at NTNU, Norway.
Acharya was born on February 15 in Kahnu VDC 8, Niyash, Nepal. He completed his undergraduate degree in Physics from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, and went on to pursue a second Masters in Data Science from OsloMet University, Oslo.
Acharya has a keen interest in the application of data science and machine learning in the oil and gas industry. His research focuses on using machine learning algorithms to automatically align well log data from different wells, thereby improving the accuracy and efficiency of geological analysis.
Acharya has published several research papers in top-tier international journals, and has presented his work at various conferences around the world. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the Society of Exploration Geophysicists and the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers.
