Rundu Open Market[edit]

Rundu Open Market was founded in 1996 through cooperation between the government of Namibia and the government of Luxembourg. It is the most well-known and biggest open market in the town. The mission is to enhance social, cultural and economic conditions in greater Rundu; To promote good health and hygiene through the provision of proper infrastructure to small scale traders. Promoting young musicians and local groups, chorals, youth organizations and the community at large.[1][2][3]
