I wanted to add my dog's photo but somehow I was not able to. So here is a picture of this cute blue butterfly, just to let you know that I am obsessed with butterflies. ;)

About Me

[edit]

Hello my name is Prachi Vajpayee, I moved to the United states 2 years ago from Delhi, India. I came here with my family. I am a Nursing major student at College of DuPage. Currently I am doing my prerequisites to go into the Nursing program. Moving to a new country is not easy. There are a lot of different things you have to learn starting from the language and the culture. It was a roller coaster for me, I have learned so many new things and I am still learning and getting used to them. I've only have dream since my childhood to become a Nurse Practitioner, that is why I came here to pursue my dream. There are things which I still don't understand but that's a part of life I will fall and I will rise again but I will never give up. It is an amazing experience, and I love it so far. Hope everything goes as planned :)

Things you should know about me to know me better are that I am a Vegetarian, I love butterflies and I think racoons are adorable. I love spicy food, I can eat spicy food all day( I know it is not good for health but I am crazy), my favorite food is Momos.

Hobby

[edit]

My favorite hobby is to play Badminton and Volleyball. Whenever I have a bad day or I am stressed or anxious about something, I leave everything behind and play Badminton or Volleyball. It really helps me to calm down and feel relaxed. When you run for a ball just to send the ball to the opponent team and you run like there are no hurdles in your way, that is when my heart is happy. In my free time I talk to my friends from home because I miss them a lot. Besides that I like to sing and dance but I can only sing Bollywood( Hindi) songs. My favorite Bollywood movie is Jab We Met.
