Pranjal Dhar


Born on 1st May of 1982 in Gyanipur village in Gonda district, Uttar Pradesh. He has done his graduation from Allahabad University. Further completed his PG Diploma in journalism and Mass Communication from the world famous Mass Communication Institute IIMC, New Delhi.

He regularly writes articles and columns in prominent newspapers and magazines of the country. He has written some famous poems in Hindi. Got Rajasthan Patrika Award in 2006 and Avadhi Samman in 2010. For 2010 the first prize in Journalism and Mass Communication category of Bhartendu Harishchandra Award was awarded to Shri Pranjal Dhar’s manuscript ‘Samkaleen Vaishwik Patrakarita Mei Akhbaar’.

He has delivered many important lectures in different institutions like Sahitya Academy, World Book Fair, National Book Fair, literary forums and Central Universities. He also has edited some books including 'Samar Shesh Hai...'. Pranjal Dhar played major creative role in Magadh Book Fair in order to promote a culture that primarily focuses on books.
