Professoressa X is the nom de guerre of Peggie Partello, a retired professor of communication (public speaking and composition) and former academic librarian. I edit primarily because I cannot let grammatical errors stand and, yes, I am an inveterate user of the Oxford comma. I also edit sentences for flow, clarity, and succinctness.
