I would greatly appreciate if under the Hostory of University of Karachi you could add some more facts in the establishment of University of Karachi back in 1951. It was the untiring and selfless devotion of the first Vice Cancellor A B A Haleem, Mr. Hashmi, and Mr S. M. Najmuddin , retired as a Registrar, under Dr Masoom Ali Tirmizi (VC) and appointed under Ishtiaq Hussain Qureshi (VC).

They were instrumental in the early years , when Karachi University was started in two rooms , office supplies was provided by the then officials under meagre beginnings. They both worked tirelessly to lay the foundation and today thousands of people are reaping the benefits from one of the top notch universites of Pakistan.

There is not one lecture hall or building named after their names , which is amazing because these were the pioneeers, who should never be forgotten.
