New Work[edit]

  1. Prisoner-of-war camp - looks like an interesting target for an ogre.

Clean Up[edit]

ACTION NEEDED[edit]

  1. The Green Project; diff. Fairly major edit to change an advert into a more neutral article. No attempt to pull in information from outside WP, this was a removal of copy / paste content and reword of existing content, so no concerns I introduced problems. However, this article has not significantly evolved in the last 6 years and probably still contains content that shouldn't be there (not added by me - this is on someone else). Good practice to look at it again.
Removal of spam complete; tagged for no references - job done for now. QuiteUnusual TalkQu 13:34, 23 October 2012 (UTC)
  2. Sir Nicholas Bacon, 14th Baronet; article created from AfC. Original AfC submission follows one source closely for one paragraph and some of this structure remains in the current article. Should be looked at more closely.
Sentence added by another editor with this diff is a copy / paste from the source; deleted. QuiteUnusual TalkQu 09:50, 22 October 2012 (UTC)
Completed a minor restructure. All done. QuiteUnusual TalkQu 09:56, 22 October 2012 (UTC)
  3. Langford, Essex; article created. No obvious copying from the sources, looks okay. One section is not properly referenced - these are still in the article so tagging for citation needed and will review later.
  4. River Blackwater, Essex; various diffs from article creation. Added two sentences each referenced. References are now dead links. Content is trivial, probably no need for a concern on my edits. However, current version contains a match (here) on the sentence "the site of the old heybridge mill and down the original course of the blackwater now known as heybridge creek before passing through a sluice gate into the tidal blackwater estuary at maldon". This was added by User:WillKemp in this edit. Needs cleanup.
Add {{Close paraphrasing}} to this article and a talk page note. I will go clean it up after I've reviewed all my edits
Cleaned, detagged. QuiteUnusual TalkQu 09:16, 22 October 2012 (UTC)
  5. Control self-assessment - needs a more detailed review. Given the number of times I restructured this the problem is likely to be "odd phrases" but I need to tackle it properly.
First four references checked and restructuring started. More to do.
Full review complete. Probably not perfect but should be okay (need to sleep on it)
  6. Woodham Mortimer - pending check.
Review complete, no paraphrased content (although one link is dead so can't be confirmed). Several {{cn}} tags added. QuiteUnusual TalkQu 09:43, 22 October 2012 (UTC)
Citations added for two {{cn}} I added.
  7. Arshaluys P. Tarverdyan; diff. My efforts were mainly a clean up, bringing no new content in, so from that perspective clean. The article though is based on a single source. This source is a series of short phrases that have been turned into a smoother, wordy article. It's probably impossible to write the article without using these, or close equivalent, phrases. Might need an expert's view if this is acceptable.

CHECKED AND CLEAN / CLEANED[edit]

August 2006[edit]

  1. The Luxury Gap; created article. No references originally. Content is trivial, no concern. One unreferenced statement has survived to the current version, tagged for citation needed.
  2. How Men Are; created article. No references but with the exception of the track listing all content has been replaced. No concerns now.

September 2006[edit]

  1. Rayleigh Castle; diff. Addition of link to National Trust web site and single sentence noting the castle is known as Rayleigh Mount. Trivial, no concern.
  2. A129 road; article created. Single sentence detailing the towns the road links. No concerns now.
  3. Sima, Comoros; diff. Addition of one line stating the population. No concerns but tagging the line I added for citation needed as it remains in place, uncited.
  4. Warren Ellis; diff addition of note that he attended SEEVIC and that he went there with Richard Easter. Not copied from elsewhere as I based this on personal knowledge (because I was there with them and knew them both). It is, however, uncited and remains in the article. Tagging for citation needed.

October 2006[edit]

  1. David Lloyd Leisure; diff. Addition of two sections that are cited one of which looks like it might have been paraphrased from the 2005 annual report. However, this whole section has been rewritten and no original content remains; so no remaining concern.
  2. Undervalued stock; diff. Added a reference to support existing content, no concerns.
  3. Dong Hai Chuan; article was redirected to an existing article; original content removed and not copied into target article so no investigation necessary.
  4. Bernard Brodeur; article created from AfC. No citations in original AfC submission except external link to home page of a web site that no longer contains relevant content. Tagged for no citations.
  5. High Feather; article created from AfC. No citations in original AfC submission. Two links to external fan sites, not reliable sources. Article now completely rewritten, no trace of original content so no action needed.

February 2007[edit]

  1. Technology in Revelation Space; diff. Paragraph added, uncited but not derived from a source. Essence of paragraph remains within a much larger section that is all derived from primary sources and is not cited. No specific action required re. my diff, but the whole article could do with secondary source referencing.
  2. Rural Workers' Organisations Convention, 1975; diff. Large edit adding a table; no concerns.

May 2007[edit]

  1. Red Dwarf; diff large edit without an edit summary is a vandalism revert; no follow up required.

March 2008[edit]

  1. HMS Broadsword (F88); diff addition of a short paragraph, properly cited, not copied from the original source. No action needed.

October 2008[edit]

  1. Lego Indiana Jones; diff addition is references to existing content, no new material added. No concerns.
  2. Ancaster Senior Public School; diff. One sentence re. new school to be built, cited. Link to source is dead. Sentence remains in current version. Trivial, probably fine.
  3. Simon Amstell; diff adding a reference to existing content only. No concerns.

November 2008[edit]

  1. Robert Woodruff (director); diff. Fairly large tidy up and adding of references to material already in the article. Looks okay.
  2. Woodham Walter; article created. No material has been brought in from the sources. Some referenced statements. No paraphrase concern but will tag for citation needed.
  3. Purleigh; article created. All referenced. No content has been brought in or paraphrased from the references, no concerns.
  4. Marion Borgelt; diff. Big rework to remove irrelevant material and improve wikistyle. I didn't bring any new material in, so no concern re. my edits.
  5. Creeksea; article created. Some minor elements unreferenced. Two references are dead links, the remaining reference has not been paraphrased. Low risk. One I added and one new sentence tagged for citation needed.
  6. Maylandsea; article created. All referenced, sources still available, no apparent paraphrasing, etc. and content is trivial. Low risk.
  7. List of cakes; major overall, but it is a list with no sources brought in so no concern.

December 2008[edit]

  1. River Can; article created. All content referenced, no obvious copying from the source. No action needed.
  1. Integrated Strategies; diff; addition of references to material already presented. De-spamming. As no content added by me, no concern re. my edits.

October 2010[edit]

  1. Armour-piercing discarding sabot; diff adding an image and a reference to existing content, no concern
  2. Howard Jarvis Taxpayers Association; diff. Just added a reference to existing content, no concern
  1. Lumen Christi College; diff. Rework and improved referencing of existing content; no new additions so no concerns

January 2011[edit]

  1. Software as a service; diff. Rewrite based on the existing content to remove "spam" feel. No new references used, no introduction of new material so no concerns.

September 2011[edit]

  1. Thomas Bushell (mining engineer); article created. All properly referenced. Content not linked to the sources at all. No concern.

November 2011[edit]

  1. Ex post facto law; diff large edit but 95% is the citation itself. No concerns.

February 2012[edit]

  1. Decompression (altitude); diff. Extra text and reference added. Text was PD source so I copied it in, made some amendments for style and used an inline ref. Now added PD tag to note inclusion.

March 2012[edit]

  1. The Skinner; diff. Addition of plot summary. One of my favourite books, I'm sure I made this up myself without using a source - no concerns.
  2. Per Jan Ingebrigtsen; diff. Transwiki copy / paste with attribution in the edit summary - no concern
  1. Kristin Frey; diff large diff but the change is adding references to content that was already there, no concern
  2. Luminary Group; diff an article I CSD'd then "rescued". Looks completely clean, no concerns.
  3. Matthew Long (firefighter); article (I didn't create the article but expanded it significantly). It looks to be clean but there are slight hints of structural similarity so restructured slightly diff.
  1. A.J Locascio; diff added a paragraph with a reference. The reference was a transcript of an interview, so the structure is different (written v's speech) but with some similarities. Since my edit it has been restructured slightly and looks fine as is - so no action.

April 2012[edit]

  1. Recast (language teaching); diff new stub I expanded with a couple of references. The references are cited inline next to the sentence they reference, but the sentence is very similar to the source. This similarity exists in the current article. Restructured diff to correct it.
  • All checked. "Luckily" 99% of my edits after April 2012 are AWB or HG automated - vandalism reverts or cleanup. So didn't take as long to check through as I initially thought. Now to clean up the action list.
