Kai Danzberg (born November 6, 1993) is a German singer and pop/rock/funk/power-pop musician. Born in Hannover, Lower Saxony, he began his career learning to play the drums in the late 90s. In the age of 11 he began to play in his first band named Abgrund (abyss). Later he also played in a funk/pop-band named FunkyJam. He started to play the guitar in the ages between 12-14. In the same time he started to write own lyrics and compose own music. His first german solo-record "Punkt auf dem Globus", mostly inspired by standard-pop/rock tunes was released in 2011. It was removed completely from the internet and it's not for sale anymore. His interest and inspiration in music changed a lot when he began to listen to music from the 60s - 80s. He calls The Beatles, Jellyfish, ELO, Roger Joseph Maning Jr and Michael Jackson as some of the artists he is most influenced from. His second release called "Stories" (2015) was the first EP he self-released under his label Danzberg-Music. His next project was a release of a collection of songs named "Sea Of Music" in 2016 which had private copies available as physical CD. One year later he released another EP titled "Unacceptable". Most inspired by late 80s and early 90s new jack swing (Michael Jackson, Teddy Riley, New Edition & many more). Most success he got with his album "Pop-Up Radio" which was released in 2018. It contained 13 tracks including a 6-track suite. He said the album was most influenced by a broken long relationship he had with a women. Danzberg already announced that there will be a new solo-album in 2019. There is not much information about it. But he said it will feature other artists. Kai Danzberg also produces music for American artist Blake Raines. They released an EP called "Classics" together where Raines sings the most of the Songs. They currently working on Blake Raines next solo-record which is planned for release late 2018.
