My name is Rick McKinnon, and I hold a Ph.D. in linguistics from the University of Washington. My interests include language development (I've written a handbook devoted to helping parents of children who are experiencing a delay in the development of expressive language), eLearning (I'm the eLearning Support Manager at South Puget Sound Community College), and Citizen Journalism (I founded OlyBlog], a hyperlocal blog for Olympia, WA).
