Ezra the Toothpick

Ezra the Toothpick is a character in the book series, Leven Thumps, by Obert Skye. He is actually a piece of the other toothpick, Geth, and is Geth's evil side. He was chopped off of Geth's "heart" when Geth (a chunk of wood at the time) was dropped into a processor at a toothpick factory.

Appearance

Ezra is a extra long, sandwich toothpick with dark purple frill. He has only one eye, no nose, a large, screaming mouth, and just the sliver of a tail. In the end of Leven Thumps and the Whispered Secret, Ezra is bent almost in half by the angry human, Dennis, that for the book so far has been helping Ezra accomplish his evil designs. In the beginning of Leven Thumps and the Eyes of the Want we learn that Tim, another human working with Ezra, buys green nail-polish and by dipping Ezra into it, creates a cast for him as he "heals". In Leven Thumps and the Wrath of Ezra, another angry human rips Ezra's leg and tail off. Dennis, again helping Ezra in his evil plan, fashions a leg for him out of a paper clip, and Ezra declares it "Not bad, it makes me look interesting." and continues to say that "This leg makes me even more certain that I will be triumphant. How could I fail when I'm half machine?"
