ONGWEDIVA ANNUAL TRADE FAIR CENTER[edit]

Namibia is still a developing country attempting to raise it's economic standard.Namibia have many trading industries and trading places, like: Ongwediva Annual Trade Fair,Windhoek Show Ground, Oshakati Open Market and many other places, where traders and customers can meet and exchange goods of the same value.

The Ongwediva Trade Fair Center is located in Ongwediva, situated in Ongwediva electoral constituency. It is in Oshana Region, in Ovamboland .[1]Ongwediva trade fair can be found few Kilometers from Ondangwa in the main load between Ondangwa and Oshakati,in the road MR 92 and few meters from the traffic junction of Ongwediva, the event takes place every year, this year's trade show already took place from 24 August until 01 September 2012.[2] [3]

Ongwediva Annual Trade Fair is abbreviated as OATF, it is an event that takes place every year.This trade fair firstly took place in the year 2000, in connection with the Town Council. Because trade fair was all about trading,the Ministry of Trade and Industry decided to help it out with its operation.Ongwediva residents also helped out the trade fair with its trading activities. That time the chair person of the committee was the rate CEO of Ongwediva town council,Ms Auguste Williams- Taanyanda.[4]

The Trade Center is a very big area capable of accommodating thousands of vendors and customers,it covers approximately 94 965 m which is 9,464ha.The center have many places that makes it unique and attract the attention of many customers.It has offices for the center's staffs,conference hall for business meetings. Te center also have three exhibitions where traders can show and sell their products during the trade fair,the trade fair event always have entertainers to perform so the center have an entertainment kiosk.The Trade Fair is usually attended by many people from all 13 Regions of the country, so the center have many safe parkings for customers.[5]
