Omar Darwish (born January 31, 2005) is a soccer player who plays for Atlético Ottawa in the Canadian Premier League.
Early life
[edit]Darwish played youth soccer with West Ottawa SC.[1]
Club career
[edit]In August 2022, Darwish signed a developmental contract with Atlético Ottawa of the Canadian Premier League, after being identified through the club's Atlético de Madrid Development Program.[1][2] In 2023, he attended Atlético Ottawa's pre-season camp in Spain,[3] before joining their Ligue1 Québec affiliate Ottawa South United.[4] He scored his first goal for OSU on June 24 against FC Laval.[5] On June 29, 2023, he signed another developmental contract with Atlético Ottawa.[3]
