'Reggie Strarr' is a current serving field registration officer in the Vital Registration Service (Births, Deaths and Marriages) in England and Wales.

The user name is from a ficticious character created by a colleague who, as a member of the registration service, would regularly publish or present tales from Reggie Strarr's life, sometimes foro pure amusement but generally to illustrate or demonstrate a point of view. As none of these seem to be available I have used the name as a tribute to my colleague, Roland, for whom I had great respect, and to preserve his and Reggie's memory.
