Consignment Guidelines

Repeats accepts in current season clothing, toys & equipment. Appointments are preferred, but not mandatory. Consignors may bring in either 2 boxes (10x18x17in), 1 Rubbermaid 18-gallon bin or 2 laundry baskets, but keep in mind that it is much easier for us to process your items efficiently if you bring fewer than 50(fifty) items per time. Clothing sets count as one (1) item. All prices are determined by Repeats Children’s Resale.

Consignors must check the CPSC.gov web site to ensure merchandise being brought in for re-sale in not an the current CPSC site

Clothing: We accept children’s clothing (preemie through size 12), maternity clothing & children shoes (0 to size 3). Clothing must be freshly laundered (within the last 30 days), in style & free of stains, rips, tears & pet hair. Clothing must have all buttons/snaps & zippers, in working order. Clothing that is extremely faded or worn WILL NOT be accepted. Clothing must be brought in neatly folded in 1(one) bin (18 gallons or less)or 2 boxes no larger than 10x18x17inches. Trash bags are NOT permitted. To minimize your handling fees, please puts outfit sets together & any coordinating accessories together. NOTE: Quality name brand clothing (i.e. Oshkosh, POLO/Ralph Lauren, Gap, Little Me, Old Navy & Gymboree) sell best. We accept Fall/Winter clothing in July and Spring/Summer clothing in January. Consignment period is 120-days (4 months). NOTE: Effective July 1,2007, Repeats will NOT return unsold clothing items that are brought in as a “Drop n’ Dash” to consignors at the end of the consignment season. Instead, ALL clothing items become Repeats Children’s Resale property & may be donated to charity at the discretion of the storeowner.

Toys : All toys must be clean with all parts attached to the toys in bags. Battery operated toys must have working batteries or Repeats will provide them for $0.50 each. Videos/DVDs, books, CDs, tapes are also accepted. Consignment period is 120-days (4 months). NOTE: At the end of the consignment season ALL toys, books or videos become Repeats store inventory & may be donated to charity at the discretion of the operations manager.

Equipment :All baby equipment must be clean & in excellent condition,with all safety belts & parts intact. All padding & straps should be freshly washed. Since it is impossible to determine whether a car seat has been in an accident, & due to the numerous safety recalls, we are unable to accept used car seats. All equipment must meet all current safety standards and will not be accepted if it is on the Consumer Safety Recall List. Equipment will be consigned for a minimum 90-day period. NOTE: Any equipment item the does not sell MAY be returned to the consignor at the end of the 90-day period unless the operations manager opts to keep the item for an additional 90 day consignment period.


Payment

Clothing, toys & equipment are paid on a 50/50 split. A one-time consignor set up fee of $6.00(six dollars) will be deducted from your first month’s consignment proceeds. A handling fee of $0.25 to $1.00 per item is added into the price of each item & is paid by the buyer at the time of the sale. A cleaning fee will also be assessed if an item does not meet the cleanliness standards of Repeats Children’s Resale. You may opt to take your consignment proceeds as a store credit available anytime regardless of account balance. Checks are issued for consignors, whose balances are over $10.00,in which the consignor must call in advance for. Checks will then be ready on the 20th of that month.
