Rev. Careen White-Richardson was born on December 29, 1976, in a village known as Swift River, in Portland, Jamaica. She is the last of ten children. Rev. White-Richardson attended the University of the West Indies and the United Theological College of the West Indies, where she received a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Theology and a Diploma in Ministerial Studies respectively. She also attended the Titchfield High School, Bloomfield All Age School and Bloomfield Basic School. An Itinerant Presbyter in the Methodist Church in the Caribbean and the Americas (MCCA), she hopes to pursue a Masters and Doctorate in Theology, particularly in the area of Greek and Hebrew. Along with her vocation, she enjoys writing as well as the performing arts. Rev. White-Richardson believes that God has called her into the ministry to help others so that they can put Him above all things, and in so doing, receive the treasures of heaven.
