User:Reza Azizian

Reza Azizian was born in 1986 in Tehran, Iran. He pursued his studies at Shahid Bahonar High School, located in the 12th District of Tehran's city hall.

He then graduated as a clinical laboratory from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in 2008 and continued his studies at Iran University of Medical Sciences as a bachelor's degree until 2010.

Reza went to Pasteur Institute of Iran from 2010 to 2012 and worked on Bordetella pertussis and Corynebacterium diphtheria.

Then he worked on bacteriophage as his M.Sc. thesis in Medical Microbiology at Ilam University of Medical Sciences in 2013.

He came back to Tehran and joined to Massoud Clinical and Molecular laboratory. and teaches various clinical laboratory courses for 5 years. He worked on Mycobacterium tuberculosis with Prof. Saeed Zaker Boostanabad.

Reza had been collaboration with Iranian Microbiology Society for than 7 years. He published 5 academic books in Persian. And more than 25 article in different subjects like phage therapy, probiotics, microbiome, phageome and antibiotic resistant.

And then he went to Tehran University of Medical science for PhD course. As PhD thesis he worked on POCT based isothermal molecular techniques.
