ABOUT HINGLISH AND ROMANAGARI – Indians have been ruled by the Britishers for over 200 years and as a result English language entered the system long back. The impact has been so much that now instead of pure hindi and pure English, the language that most of the people use in India is Hinglish i.e. a mix of hindi and English. As for Romanagari, the script has been in use since a long time. But it became more popular with social networking like Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp etc where people chat in Hinglish by writing the hindi text in Roman. The word Romanagari is comparatively a very new word, even the users are not aware that such a word exists. But the fact is that without realizing its existence, the script is extensively used by Indians whether in India or Abroad.
