Children (Equal Protection from Assault) (Scotland) Act 2019 is an Act of the Scottish Parliament which received royal assent on 7 november 2019. The Act was introduced by John Finnie MSP who is a former police officer. The Act make Physical Punishment of children against the law,giving children the same protections as adults.
