Rob Neufeld is the editor of the journals of author Gail Godwin, which have been published by Random house as The Making of a Writer, vols, 1 and 2; and will result in a third volume, Working on the Ending: The Journals of Gail Godwin, 2000-2004. He is also the long-time book reviewer and local history writer for the Asheville Citizen-Times; the author of two books, several reader's guides, and several articles; the creator and editor of the website, The Read on WNC, the number one site for Western North Carolina books and heritage; the director of Mountain Lit, producer of community reading programs; a TV and movie consultant and spokesperson; a library and museum designer; and professional librarian (MLS from Columbia University). He attained his B.A. from Swarthmore College.
