Robert Bruce Robinson (born May 1, 1956) is an American model and actor. He was Brooklyn, N.Y. born and raised to southern migrant parents, Dorothy Lucille and Robert Bruce.

Education

His initial studies in engineering and architecture guided him through Brooklyn Technical H.S. and Pratt Institute before segueing to journalism via New York University.

Technology, training and development along with print and fashion modeling helped to finance a large part of his education during 80's and 90's with support and representation from some of the industries long-standing talent agencies which included Gilla Roos, Lauren Green, Grace Del Marco, William Morris, and Cunningham, Escott, Dipene & Associates (CESD).

Professional Work

As a classic model, Bruce was a 2017 nation-wide "Men's Health" magazine Top 100 cover contestant. He was also featured in a 26-page fashion editorial spread depicting song and dance legend, Robert Cole for a 2018 celebratory 5th edition of the fashion & lifestyles publication "The Tenth".

In his continuous work in helping to create a classic demographic awareness in the fashion and entertainment industries; as a runway model; he manages to work for dozens of fashion designers, show producers & stylists in and out of Fashion Week seasons throughout the year. He has walked and been featured in Ann Demeulemeester, Kenny Kas, Larry Underwood, Franklin Rowe, Malcolm Staples, Jurjis Jarvis and others.

When he is not walking the catwalk he is cultivating his acting skills. In 2019 Bruce completed and is featured in 2 short films. "Dream Box" and "Driver" which is slated for the 2020 Film Festival. On television he was also cast as a blue collar worker on the Season 3 edition of the HBO series, "The Deuce".

During his television & radio commercial professional career; Bruce has done voice-overs, video industrials & print work for N.F.L. (National Football League), N.H.C.A. (National Hairdressers & Cosmetologists Association), "Ebony Man" magazine; Always Natural Hair Products, "Black Elegance" magazine, Brecco's, "Today's Black Man" magazine & Western Union. In addition as a print model he has worked with a series of fashion & commercial photographers.

Bruce has served as the master of ceremonies and host of various entertainment shows and launches for various clients which include: New Day Associates, Height Magazine, Melodream Entertainment & Model Behavior.

In addition to his modeling profession he has cultivated work as a media consultant & managing editor of V-Train Technology a technology consulting service brand. With 30 years of information technology; along with training & development; the IT veteran has worked many years in the legal field with a select group of fortune 500 firms. The native New Yorker supported his education as a model while studying at Pratt Institute & New York University, majoring in architecture and journalism before segueing to technology.

In 1989, he was recruited as part of an original technology production team creating the well-known financial business channel, CNBC T.V. for G.E. & NBC Universal. While 2 years prior to that achievement; he capped the International Model of Year award from the New Day Associate Brand.

As a public servant, Bruce was a New York state notary while serving as a member of multiple professional groups & organizations.
