Robin Barnes, also known as The New Orleans Songbird, was born in New Orleans, LA on November 2,1987. She grew up in a household of musicians with her family’s jazz band the Soul Heirs and her cousin Dave Bartholomew, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for his role in producing early rhythm and blues songs. She graduated from St. Mary's Dominican in 2005. She then earned her degree Bachelors in Business from University of New Orleans in 2009 and shortly after, earning her Masters in Business in 2010.

Robin is currently a featured performer at New Orleans Saints games, Windsor Court – Polo Lounge, Hotel Monteleone Carousel Lounge and was nominated for Best Female Vocalist at OffBeat’s Best of the Beat Awards. The singer-songwriter released her debut EP, titled Me, on July 10, 2013 that features six soulful-pop songs that include: Rescue Me; Running; What I Gotta Do feat. Jake Smith; In Your Arms; and Pieces.

Robin is the recipient of the Offbeat Millennial Award, honoree City Business Women of the Year 2014, inducted into Gambit's 40 under 40 Class of 2014,motivational speaker for Schools and Convention venues, Founder and CEO of Fit By You fitness clothing. She has been feauture in several magazines:
