He is a Srilankan citizen born in 13th March 1978 Mutur, Trincomalee in Srilanka. He studied his almost all student life in Jaffna, Srilanka. He entered the Jaffna Medical Faculty in 2000 and completed the MBBS course in 2012. He is a Srilankan MBBS Doctor working at Jaffna Teaching Hospital since 2012. He married Suguna Gunaratnam in 2009 and have two kids Jessica Andrea, Jeson. His father is a Trained teacher and mother also a Teacher completed BA, Dip.In.Ed. M.Pill. His elder brother is a Roman Catholic Priest and his younger sister living Australia. His younger brother living in India,Tamilnaadu.
