  • Betty Ann Davies (1910–1955), English stage, film and TV actress who began as one of "Young Ladies" in producer C. B. Cochrane's revues; on screen from 1934; started in leading roles, but soon descended to second leads and supporting parts as working-class characters; died at 44 following appendectomy
  • Elizabeth Valerie Davies (1912–2001), Welsh swimmer who competed for Britain in 1932 Summer Olympics, winning bronze medals in 100m backstroke event and 4×100m freestyle relay; represented Wales at 1930 and 1934 British Empire Games, receiving two silver and two bronze; later known as Valerie Latham
  • Libby Davies (born 1953), English-born Canadian legislator in British Columbia; Vancouver City Councillor (1982–93; mayoral candidate (1993); MP for Vancouver East since 1997; House Leader from 2003 to 2011; Deputy Leader of New Democratic Party (NDP) since 2007; revealed that she is in same-sex relationship (2001)
