Ron Bruguiere, born 3 November 1935 in Paterson, NJ spent his career in the theatre, on Broadway, the road, and Los Angeles, CA.
In 1960, he started as an usher at the Alvin Theatre during the run of Wildcat with Lucille Ball. For the summer of 1961, he was business manager for the Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis, MA. In 1962, he managed a bus tour of Carol Channing and 12 Gentlemen Who Prefer Blondes. He served as company manager (1964) for The Actors Studio productions of Baby Want A Kiss with Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward, James Baldwin's Blues For Mister Charlie, and The Three Sisters with Kim Stanley and Geraldine Page.
At Richard Rodgers' Music Theater of Lincoln, he managed five years (1964-69) of summer musicals. He was General and House Manager of The American National Theatre and Academy (ANTA) from 1969 to 1973.
In 1974, he toured with Maggie Smith in Noel Coward's Private Lives. In 1976, with Billy Dee Williams in I Had A Dream.
In 1977, he was house manager for Los Angeles' Mark Taper Forum and the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion both at the Music Center of Los Angeles, a position that lasted for twenty-five years.
In 2011, he published his autobiography COLLISION when reality and illusion collide' (ISBN-978-1-4567-2525-1)
