The voice on the renowned 1989 track “Reach Out”, which has been sampled by many, including Black Eyed Peas (Boom Boom Pow) The female singer with Happy Mondays for 10 years. Rowetta re-entered the spotlight in 2004 was the last woman standing on the 1st series of The X Factor. Rowetta presents her own radio show on Gaydio 88.4fm  Rowetta has been appearing at selected dates with Peter Hook (Joy Division/ New Order) as part of his Unknown Pleasures tour.
