From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

My name is Ruonan Zhang. I am studying Information Science in University of Pittsburgh.

I graduated from East China University of Science and Technology in 2013, and change my specialization from Computer Science to Information Science. Information applications refer to almost every field, such as Database Management and Big Data. I have some basic knowledge in these fields, but I think I need advanced knowledge to equip myself.

I start to use Wikipedia in my college, it is a world-wide, free encyclopedia. I believe that almost everyone use Wikipedia to search for resources and read articles when they are doing their research. I benefit from it a lot, but I have never contribute to the online encyclopedia. I am now a student in University of Pittsburgh, pursuing my master degree, and I think it is the time that I do something to feedback and be a real member of it.
