Biography[edit]

Richard W. Robbins is the director of choral activities at Shenandoah Conservatory and the director of the Richmond Symphony Chorus. He is acclaimed for his work, with ensembles described as "moving" and "powerful." A published scholar and experienced conductor, Robbins has prepared choruses for renowned conductors and collaborated with various artists. He has extensive experience with choral-orchestral repertoire and has taught choral music in public schools. Robbins is a member of several choral organizations and has held academic positions at multiple universities.
