British Defence Organization is a small Loyalist paramilitary which is located in the Banbridge, Co.Down area of Northern Ireland.

They have close links with the Ballybeen Red Hand Commando C.Company,

So far the B.D.O have been involved in a number of activities;

The rioting in Banbridge in the last number off years,

Attack on a Republican house in Edenderry

Threats against youths in the Rathfriland area for anit-social behaviour

Organizing Loyalist protests including the Union flag protests

Petrol bombing a house in Banbridge

Burning out cars and burglarys

They Loyalist group also work with a small youth section of the paramilitary called the U.Y.L.T

They are known as the Ulster Young Loyalist Team

Who carry out attacks on Republicans

Attack the P.S.N.I

Burning out of cars

Putting up Loyalist Paramilitary flags

Both groups work very close and will not let anything Republican come out in Banbridge

The B.D.O and the U.Y.L.T are still and will be continuing the campaign to support Loyalists in other area's and defend the Protestant people of Banbridge
