Good spot, I liked that merge idea, there were a lot of keep's giving good reasoning so the article was kept in it's current form. I think merge was the best option to be honest.

I I'm being honest, this one was quite poor. If you look at the article there's over 20 sources. I haven't gone into great detail looking at them, but anything with 20 sources most probably is enough for an article. If you say merge, you should probably state what to.

BLP essay

Write an essay in your userspace on the importance to the biography of living persons policy. Include idea's of how administrator's should enforce actions against violators (i.e. warnings, blocks, protections) and also of what the policy means. Ryan Postlethwaite 17:01, 20 May 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, I like this essay, you obviously understand BLP. What I'd like to suggest, is that if ever you see a user add non sourced content into a bio article - warn them and remove it, it may be an honest mistake, and it can stop them doing it in the future. Also, at present, if a person that has an article has only minor notabiity due to a news story (e.g. swapped at birth babies) - the story in itself can be considered a BLP violation so can be speedy deleted. If a BLP article has been deleted for infringements on the policy, is must not be recreated without either the deleting admins consent, or a very cear consensus to do so. Many BLP deletion go to deletion review, and it should be left to run the full course of the debate, rather than closing eary. It's also good to note, that users that remove BLP violations are not subject to the 3RR. Ryan Postlethwaite 22:41, 7 June 2007 (UTC)
