Fullurl makes external links and MediaWiki gives them the link icon.

Try Querylink instead. It also makes external links but puts them in a <span class="plainlinks">. But some containing CSS hides the icon on links anyway.

• type=signup and campaign in query string create an account
• use Special:UserLogin/signup with only campaign in query string create an account
• bug?: empty qs generates empty ? query string: create an account
• bug: no qs generates ?{{{qs}}} query string: create an account
