I am interested in music, particularly the history and the importance of punk rock in culture, social change and not the least in its ultra direct songwriting and significance in the history of music. I have lived though a lot of it myself, witnessed a lot of it, been at seminal events, and through that and also through its role in my life have a lifelong belief in the importance of music to the individual and in promoting self actualisation, expressing the times, and also in social and political change. I believe that live music, particularly punk rock live music, whilst so important and inspiring in individual lives and youth culture, is ephemeral and in many cases sadly undocumented. I have many other interests and look to contribute more generally on occasion as well. I am always happy for people to give me any feedback or comment.
