So what do trolls eat for breakfast? Trolls are strange creatures who do not have the same dietary requirements as normals editors. We may think they dine on recognition with their edits remaining part of the current version. But some trolls actually appear do thrive on a constant diet of people exercising WP:DENY. The very acts of reverting and blocking sock puppets maybe what makes some trolls come back for more.

So if you have tried WP:DENY and its not working, maybe its time to try a different strategy, perhaps WP:ROPE, perhaps talking to them, anything to break the cycle.
