About Me[edit]

I live in New Jersey, USA. I am a scientist by training. I received my MSc and PhD from the Graduate School of Arts and Science of New York University, NYC.

I have been an art collector from very early age.

I edited 27 videos on the art and lives of the artists of the New York School artists. These videos, repeatedly shown on cable TV, were listed in >>Art on Screen, - A joint venture of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the J. Paul Getty Trust.<< Some of these videotapes are also available to the public through The Smithsonian Institution Research Information System.

The videos were always distributed free of charge.

I hosted numerous videotaped artist seminars and spent the past two decades documenting the New York Painting and Sculpture Annuals, the participating artists and their art. I have edited two major books on the subject of post World War II artists and their art. One of the books won OUTSTANDING ACADEMIC TITLE ~CHOICE, 2003.

I am interested to share my knowledge in the field of 20th century visual arts in Wikipedia for two reasons:

1. I would like to document for the general public the art and life of all the artists who were highly regarded by their contemporaries and no longer alive.

2. I would like to inspire the public who are intimidated by contemporary art, to trust their judgment.

I have been editing on wiki since October 2006. I changed my user name twice because I tried to avoid harassment.

I realized that Wikipedia imitates life.

It means that we have to pay attention to the detail while never stop learning to differentiate in order to exercise correct judgment which will allow us to make the choices that we can be responsible for.

The Truth always concurs while we have to remain humble and paying attention to Service.
