Saman K. Wijenayake was born on February 27, 1977, in Hettipola City Matale,Sri Lanka. Mumonkan MMA (World Mixed Martial Arts Organization) and Seishin Karate School, Ceylon Fight Club - MMA was founded by Saman K. Wijenayake Starts his carrier in Sports Martial Arts in March 1988 he practices Kyokushin karate (IKO) under the guidance of Sensei Athula Welgama (Brother of D A Welgama who introduced Kyokushin karate (IKO) to Sri Lanka). In 1994 he obtains the 1st DAN Black Belt in Kyokushin karate (IKO). Further he improves his style with Ashihara karate (NIKO) for 4 years from 1994 under Sensei D C M Karunathilake. (Branch Chief of Ashihara karate (NIKO)-1994-1997). Saman was appointed as the Sri Lanka Branch Chief of Nakayama karate in 1997. In 1999 Saman holds the Guinness record for breaking 1500 tiles in 42 minutes. Same year he toured India, Japan and Denmark to participate in Asian tournament , World cup and Special training of Ashihara karate (NIKO) respectively to reach 2nd DAN Black belt. Then he appointed as a Branch Chief and Chief instructor in 2003 to 2008 for Ashihara karate (NIKO) in Italy. Saman won the Kick Boxing Championship- Europe in 2004 under the weight category of 70kg which was held in Belgium. He learns Mumonkai budo karate in France from Founder Kaicho Togashi Yoshimoto in 2008 and achieved the 3rd DAN Black belt level. 2008 He learns Yoga in India From Very famous Yoga Guru in B.K.S. Iyengar and achieved Yoga Instructor. Saman goes to Japan in 2010 and reaches the 4TH DAN Black belt in "50 man kumite" and then was appointed as the "Asian Leader- Mumonkai budo karate for South Asian Region. He also appointed as the Branch Chief instructor for Sri Lanka, Dubai and Italy for the style of Toshin kaikan karate and Toshin Kickboxing. 2012 He appointed International japan karate organization Josui Kai East and South Asian Chief and Chief Instructor. Saman won the Budo Karate Championship in 2012 under the weight category of 70kg which was held in Japan. And respectively to reach 5th Dan Black Belt. 2014 He appointed International KyoNewaza Federation (Submission Techniques) group leader and Sri Lanka chief instructor. 2015 He appointed Italian Italian National Olympic Committee - Coni (CSEN) Karate Instructor. And Same year World Mixed Marital Arts Organisation Mumonkan MMA appointed President, Chef Instructor of the Mumonkan MMA World Organisation. And respectively to reach 6th Dan Black Belt. He has toured more than 59 countries to participate in Karate and Kick-boxing, MMA tournaments, and was an instructor for martial arts and had trained more than 1000 students with his unique technique and styles of Martial Arts under the guidance of Saman K Wijenayake (SHIHAN)
