About[edit]

My name is Marcin Marszalek and I edit pages on Polish history and related topics, mostly by fixing grammar, typos, and awkward phrasings. I am also interested in children's education, children's literature, STEM education, and the relationships between individuals and public good. I work at the Jones Library in Amherst, MA and Westfield State University in Westfield, MA.

Alma Mater[edit]

I received my BA in history from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2012 and my MS in Library Science and MA in History from Simmons College, Boston in 2016. I focused on history of Polish-Jewish relations in the 1920s and 1930s, archival management, museum work with some focus on how technologies change the face of public institutions.

Conflict of Interest[edit]

I work part time as a consultant in the Special Collections department at the Jones Library and want to contribute to articles related to our collection. Part of my time at the library is paid by a special fund to work on the Clifton Johnson collection mostly including purely archival work like digitizing photographs, storage, and creation of metadata.
