Camila, a native of Portugal, travelled to Canada at the tender age of 19 in 1968. Knowing limited English, she attended George Brown college in Toronto, Ontario, to enhance her knowledge. After only three years in Canada, she married, had two children, and shortly after divorced. In the late 1980s, she re-married and had another child. Camila currently resides in Oakville, Ontario, with two of her children, her husband, and her dog.
