Why You Should Do Warm Up and Cool Down Activities[edit]

Have you ever been tired during a workout, or have you ever broken a bone during a workout? Well I think I know what you problem is, not warming-up or cooling down during activities. If you were to do warm-up and cool down activities you will be less likely break bones, and felling tired, and at the same time getting what your body needs.
To begin with, doing warm-up and cool down activates will make it less likely for you to break any bones. If you were about to run and the teacher tells you to stretch and you say you did, when actually you didn’t you are putting yourself at risk to break a bone. When you stat running you trip and fall on your arm and you break it. You might have prevented this from happening if you were to stretch your arm. Also, if you break a bone you won’t be able to participate in any sports. So most likely you will end up watching from the side lines.
Next, if you ever feel tired you have a problem. The problem is not enough sleep. If you plan to workout you would want to stretch to wake yourself up a little. If you skip stretching your muscles would get sore faster during the workout than they would be after it, and if you have an instructor you won’t pay attention to him or her that well. Also, you were to do sports you would have slower reflexes than you would need.
Finally, if you were to do warm-up and cool down activities it will give you what you body needs. If you would do warm up and cool down activates it would increase your breathing and your hart rate. It would also increase your blood flowing to your heart. Also, it would cause your reflexes to be faster. It also prevents unnecessary stress being placed on your muscles, heart and lungs, which can occur if you exercise strenuously without a warm-up.
In conclusion, doing warm-up and cool down activities will probable prevent injuries that will affect you. There are many benefits of warming-up and cooling down before and after activities. Keep in mind that if you get hurt it is your fault not whose ever you are with, and don’t forget to be responsible for your own actions.
