Sara Namazi is a doctoral student in public health at University of Connecticut Health Center. She also has a graduate certificate training in occupational health psychology. She received her bachelors degree in biology and a masters of science degree in environmental science from University of Guam. Her research mainly focuses on issues related to work and family sources of stress, work family conflict and mental health outcomes among workers. She also has experience in Participatory Action Research and has been actively using this approach to come up with solutions to workplace issues in the corrections workforce.
