schalmer, born in 1963, third or fourth time lucky finally completed degree - a bachelor of nursing from the Queensland university of Technology in July 2017. In January 2018, he passed a graduate transition program at the St Vincent's Hospital Northside being found to be a competent and safe RN. A few days later he had surgery to remove a bulging disk at T8 that was compressing his spinal cord. He learned the meaning of the term buyers regret in regard to his hope for a quick surgical fix. What was supposed to be a six day hospital stay ended up being 74 days battling the sequelae of an iatrogenic infection. He now is an ASIA level D incomplete paraplegic, and unable to fulfil all the physical duties of a ward based RN. He has completed a TAFE NSW Training Package "Statement of Attainment in Medical Records and looking to find work as a clinical coder. He is married to Kathleen Susan Ebzery a psychologist. Stuart is proud to be a devoted and indeed uxorious husband.
