Kyt Wright[edit]

Kyt Wright (Born 29th June 1957) is an English author who only started writing in his late fifties.
He has had four books published to date comprising the science fiction/alternate world story Sirkkusaga and it's sequel Sirki's Children along with with the vampire novella, Love Bites and the Edwardian Gothic adventure, The Journals of Professor Guthridge.
His stories are off-beat with a strong sci-fi/horror fantasy element, generally with a strong independent female character, and are best described as action thriller/romcom along with peril, humour, and sex.

Sirkkusaga[edit]

Set in an alternate dimension after the Q-war, where conflict still rages, the popular singer Freya (real name Sirkku "Sirki" Vigsdottir) fronts the rock band, The Harvest, and is known as the, "Nation's Sweetheart". Although Sirki acts sweet and windsome she is anything but and is in fact a foul-mouthed, pansexual, self-centred hedonist with a string of ex-lovers, and is in recovery from addiction to painkillers. Unbeknown to her, life is about to change when she is coerced into performing a morale boosting concert for the front-line troops where she meets genetically engineered soldier Da N'tan.

Sirki's Children[edit]

Sirki returns in a story set thirty years after the events of the first novel. She now has three grown-up children who become embroiled, along with her and D'tan, in a plot by an old enemy to wreak havoc on the Reignweald.

Love Bites[edit]

Elisabeth Bathory patrols the streets of London at night wearing police uniform, but is she related to the infamous 16th century murderess Elizabeth Báthory (known as the Blood Countess) or it something more?

The Journals of Professor Guthridge[edit]

Arnold Guthridge, esteemed Oxford academic and investigator of the paranormal, is approached by his friend, Inspector Daniel Poulson of Scotland Yard, for help when a goldsmith is discovered with his head crushed in a seemingly motiveless, but odd, murder. Guthridge sets forth to help solve what is the beginning of a string of revenge driven killings, ably assisted by his former partner Miss Evelyn Poole and a host of strange acquaintances.
