Hi there folks, this is Captain Scott Dillon Yachts. Over the next few months I will write my story about yachts so far. I haven't sailed for a few years but you next know, this salty old dog might just sail again. ))

When i was young I had a yearning for the water and so I joined the local Sea Cubs and then Sea Scouts. It was great learning to tie knots and sail small boats around the Swan River. Naval Cadets followed which was added another dimension to my sailing enjoyment.

For school (John Curtin Senior High School) work experience I went cray fishing, again out of Fremantle. Working on a cray boat was tough going and I loved it. Unfortunately due to the "Bait" I was sea sick most of the time even though I drank cups of instant coffee.

I stopped sailing for a bit, but around 1992 I went sailing on a 40 foot yacht called Fremantle Doctor again out of Fremantle. We sailed the Indian Ocean offshore series and did very well!
