In linguistics, an allomorph is a variant phonological form of a morpheme, or, a unit of meaning that varies in sound or spelling without changing the meaning. [1] The term allomorph describes the realization of phonological variations for specific morphemes depending on the phonological or morphological context in which they appear. [1]
