Dr. Yang Liu is currently working on optimisation, business intelligence & business analytics, deep learning, probabilistic machine learning, algorithmic trading modelling in finance, simulation and numerical modeling. The focus of his research is motivated from the fact that forecasting using machine learning, statistics, optimisation and numerical modeling can solve real Engineering and financial modeling problems.
