Sharon McMeekin is the Head of Training and Skills with the Digital Preservation Coalition.

Work

Sharon specialises in information management and preservation, particularly relating to born-digital records and the professional development of those working in that field. She worked for 5 years at the Royal Commission for the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland as Digital Archivist before joining the DPC in 2011. She has been involved in the APARSEN and E-Ark projects and taught on the Digital Preservation Training Programme with ULCC.
