Personal Life

Sherley Singh(DOB: 20 Mar 1968) is a multi-talented personality. She is a successful entrepreneur, a passionate activist and a wonderful homemaker, all-rolled into one. Sherley associates herself with many causes that stand for the betterment of the society. A mother of two, Sherley always finds time for her kids and her husband.

Social Activism

Sherley is an agent of change, campaigning for causes such as, the Underground Metro, Water Conservation, Education, Upliftment of Weaker Sections and many more. Sherley Singh has been actively campaigning for children and citizen’s welfare and rights, environmental issues and more for 6 years now. She actively worked towards the removal of an illegal security office near the Irla nullah, which caused flooding during the monsoon. She recently fought to keep a recreation ground open for the public. She has also opposed the MMRDA’s Metro II project along with other residents of the area.

Her public welfare activities go well beyond all this. Under the banner of the Nagriksatta Ward 63, Sherley Singh along with many residents got 540 children enrolled to the Gandhigram Municipal School opposite ISCKON.
