SPOXCHANGE is a result of combination of sports entertainment with stock market fundamentals. This venture lets fans use their knowledge & understanding to trade in stocks of their favorite sports players. As of now, only cricket players are listed on the site and the trading season also is scheduled from (0001hrs) 15-Apr-09 to (2359hrs) 25-May-09 considering the upcoming 2nd season of Indian Premier League (IPL). Fans of other sports like Soccer, F1, Hockey, Tennis, etc... watch this space for more. Other features available on the site are Live Scorecard, Latest News, Videos, Blogs, Newsletters, etc.

Trade & Win On registration, every user gets 5000 SPX [SPOXCHANGE Currency] which can be used to buy stocks of players who one feels will perform well. Every run/wicket will lead to distribution of dividends to all users who own that stock at the time of 'dividend payout'. SPOXCHANGE is a unique stock trading exchange wherein once a user registers himself/herself, he/she achieves a base currency referred as SPX.

Individuals favourite sports players can be traded as scrips of a normal stock market. Based on the player's performance dividend will be issued to its shareholders in the form of SPX.

Registered users can now avail lot of privileges at SPOXCHANGE

Registered user can log in to 'My SPOXCHANGE' and view the updated ticker which displays the current position of all listed players.

Only registered users can trade on the exchange. They can buy/sell stocks and subscribe for an IPO (if any). Maximum bidding for every user is limited to their available currency (SPX)

The TOP 5 Users will be acknowledged as 'Sharekhan of SPOXCHANGE' and displayed on the home page of the site.

The portal is a brainchild of an IIM graduate - Neel Shah who did his MBA in Marketing & Strategy and was in constant lookout of interesting business ideas. Being a part of the cultural committee and the entrepreneurship cell in college, he was looking for a idea where he could convert his hobby into a profitable business. The 'merger' of sports and stocks was out of passion for both.
