There is a requirement to assume good faith, but no requirement to actually act in good faith. The rule and its enforcement are completely biased towards those with less than honest intentions. Nowhere does that flaw in the Wikipedia system manifest itself more than in articles where all of the reality-based evidence is on one side of a so-called POV.
